Howard Meyerson
Howard Meyerson is an award winning reporter/writer/photographer with more than 30 years’ experience writing about outdoor recreation, the environment and natural resources. Today he is the managing editor of Michigan BLUE Magazine, a bi-monthly statewide publication about waterfront living and lifestyles. He regularly works with freelance writers, photographers and illustrators.
His editorial career began with creating a monthly newsletter for an Ann Arbor outdoor outfitter which led to publishing the Michigan Environmental Report a bi-weekly newsletter covering environmental policy in Michigan. Howard then spent nearly 25 years as the Outdoors Editor for the Grand Rapids Press, four years as the outdoor columnist for the MLive Media outdoor chain of newspapers. His numerous freelance works include feature stories for local, state and national magazines.
