Rochester Writers is pleased to offer an add-on option to registered attendees of the 2017 Spring Conference, Writing for Children and Young Adults.
Carrie Howland from the Empire Literary Agency will meet with attendees for 15-minute appointments throughout the day. She represents adult literary fiction, narrative non-fiction, young adult, middle grade, and picture book authors. Included with the meeting is a review of your query letter, synopsis, and first ten (10) pages of you manuscript (12pt/double spaced).
Registered attendees may “add-on” this option for $50.00 in advance. Pay securely with Pay Pal ($2.00 per order service fee will be added).

Then the attendee will contact Rochester Writers to select an appointment time. Both morning and afternoon time slots will be available. Query letter, synopsis, and manuscript must be sent (WORD DOC or Body of the Email) to rochesterwriters@gmail.com by March 24, 2017. However, you may schedule an appointment without those items, to discuss your book idea.
Time slots are first come. Attendees are responsible for quietly leaving / returning to the session they are in to make the appointment time.
