Rochester Writers is a network of several writing groups in the Greater Rochester Hills area, including The Freelance Marketplace, The Rochester Writers’ Group, and The Writers’ Connection. Many of us have attended writer conferences around the state and around the country to learn, to socialize, and to sell our work. Southeast Michigan is full of creative and talented writers seeking an event of their own for the same reasons. And since The Oakland University Writing Conference ended several years ago, this area needed The Rochester Writers’ Conference. Attendees will have several sessions to choose from. Lectures, workshops, and panel discussions will provide a variety of learning experiences for new and published writers. Whether you are looking to get started on your book, freelance for magazines, or improve your personal writing, our line-up of professional development sessions will help bring success to your writing. This year’s theme is Make More Money with your Writing!

Sessions this year will include presentations for fiction and non-fiction writers, as well as, business concepts every writer needs in today’s climate. Attendees will select four of a dozen presentations to tailor fit their needs and interests. Registration is on NOW for only $99.00 and includes the presentations, refreshments, networking with the speakers, keynote speaker and lunch. Check-in registration and all sessions will take place on the first floor of the Richardson Center.  Lunch will be in the Cafeteria and Keynote Address in the Auditorium.
