Writers’ Night Out is a chance to meet and mingle, to gather and connect, and to learn. The goal is to bring Rochester Writers into the community with food, speakers, and networking. This year’s Writers’ Night Out will again be held at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm in Rochester Hills on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and will feature authors Sylvia Hubbard and Dani Resh.
Middle-grade fantasy author Dani Resh will be discussing the timeless appeal of the hero’s journey theme. She will share insights into her approach to world-building, developing authentic characters, and ensuring consistency when writing a series. She will read from her novel, Clarity of Sight, book two of the Magic Shoe Series.
Author Sylvia Hubbard will speak about Goals for Authors: Learn to build up SEO, increase ROI, and create a way put more eyes on your writing and more money for your bank account.
Food, soft drinks, and coffee will be served before the speakers begin and museum tours will be available after the speakers. Networking and social time included for a fun night out with other writers.
