Katie Van Ark is the YA author of, The Boy Next Door, a winning manuscript from Macmillan’s Swoon Reads contest. She has penned craft and publishing articles for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI)’s Bulletin and the Romance Writer’s Report. A former teacher, she now splits her time between writing and her work as co-head of youth services at Fennville District Library.
