Rochester Hills Public Library Author Fair

Rochester’s literary scene comes alive during Shop Small Saturday’s Author Fair hosted by the Rochester Hills Public Library, in partnership with Rochester Writers, on Saturday November 30, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This literary event offers the opportunity to discover Michigan authors from a variety of genres, including some from the Rochester Area. The inaugural program will feature a mix of traditionally published and self-published works.

“Rochester Writers is pleased to collaborate with the Rochester Hills Public Library to bring local authors together. This event will be a wonderful chance for readers and writers to meet each other,” said co-organizer and founder of Rochester Writers, Michael Dwyer. “And with holidays upon us, the spirit of gift-giving is also here. Books can be a thoughtful and personal offering to many on our shopping list.”

The event is part of the national and local Shop Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Many Rochester businesses will be offering deals, treats, and giveaways on this special local shopping day and the Rochester Hills Public Library is pleased to be a part of the excitement in Downtown Rochester.
