Rochester Writers is pleased to offer an add-on option to registered attendees of the 2017 Fall Conference. Only one add-on agent appointment per attendee. Time slots are first come. Authors will meet with agents for a 15-minute appointment throughout the afternoon. Attendees are responsible for quietly leaving / returning to the session they are in to make the appointment time. Included with the meeting is a review of your query letter, synopsis, and first ten (10) pages of you manuscript (12pt/double spaced).
The Attending Agents:
Carrie Howland from the Empire Literary Agency. She represents adult literary fiction, narrative non-fiction, young adult, middle grade, and picture book authors.
Cyle Young from the Hartline Literary Agency. He is currently acquiring new clients for both the General and Christian markets. Cyle will review any author or project, but he is most passionate about Speculative, YA, Children’s Books, and Love Stories. Limited appointments are available with Cyle.
Bethany Morehead from the Hartline Literary Agency. Bethany works with Cyle and is seeking general market books, including picture books, YA, middle grade, romance, and speculative.
Registered attendees may “add-on” this option for $60.00 in advance.

Then the attendee will contact Rochester Writers to select an appointment time. Both morning and afternoon time slots will be available. Query letter, synopsis, and manuscript must be sent to rochesterwriters@gmail.com by October 15, 2017. However, you may schedule an appointment without those items to discuss your book idea.
